EduXS information model 2024

As the next step in the EduXS project, we are excited to announce that the development of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) has recently started. The MVP is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year, marking a significant milestone in the project’s journey.

One of the advancements has been the update of the EduXS information model. This model is crucial as it structures the categories and criteria for data input, and the latest version introduces a more logical representation. The updated model enhances the visibility of relationships within the data, making it easier to understand and utilise.

A notable change in the model is the distinction between organisation and collaboration. In EduXS, a collaboration refers to a project-based partnership between various organisations or departments, but it also covers work groups and other temporary teams.

We are currently working on solidifying these definitions and the associated criteria, which will be published on our website once finalised. The developments of the tool EduXS itself are also underway, with first tests already showing impressive results.
